A closet and cabinet company built on carpentry

Why a second name

National Closet Company builds custom closets, pantries, garage storage and cabinets across Middle Tennessee. In 2026 its owner, Terry McCarthy, set up Nashville Luxury Closets & Cabinets as a d/b/a of the company: a separate name for an upgraded line of products, aimed at the homes and the clients who expect a closet to be finished like the rest of the house.

The goal he set for it is direct. Compete with the national closet brands on the things that matter in a high-end home, and win on craftsmanship. That means carpentry rather than assembly, materials sourced for this line rather than borrowed from the standard range, and installers who have worked in houses where the details are noticed.

What we stand on

• Expert craftsmanship. Cabinetry made to the room, with doors and drawer fronts that line up across a whole wall.
• Professional carpentry. Every piece scribed, leveled and fitted on site.
• Top-level installation teams. Carpenters with experience in higher-end homes, not delivery crews.
• Superior value. A room designed once and built properly, so it does not need doing again.

Materials for this line

The suppliers for this line are being chosen for it: makers who can produce everything it needs to a higher standard, and supply it to us exclusively in this market. The finishes and hardware on the looks show the range we design in.

Where we work

We serve Nashville and Middle Tennessee, from Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Brentwood and Franklin in the south and west to Hendersonville, Gallatin and Murfreesboro in the north and east. The full list is on the service area page.
